The asphalted route of the Trail de Paris.
The Trail de Paris was Phase I of an ongoing project by the Leadership Lamar County Class 2004 which created a multi-use trail system using 2.58 miles of the rail corridor abandoned by the Missouri Pacific Railroad and owned by the Greater Paris Development Foundation.
In this map, brown indicates the trail route across PJC and green areas are the best places to park to access the trail.
The safest entry point is through Paris Junior College. Dr. Pam Anglin, president of the junior college, offered the parking facilities of the campus for trail users as well as students. The best and most recommended method of access is to park in the middle of the PJC campus, near the vocational buildings and follow the internal street south straight onto the trail. Or you can park at Noyes Stadium and access the trail at 24th Street SE.
